About us

The Sphere of Harmony Foundation was founded in 2002.

In over 20 years we produced many premieres of Polish and foreign new music pieces. We co-organized over 30 festivals and several hundred concerts in Poland and abroad, promoting young Polish performers and composers.  In the Sphere of Harmony Foundation, we produce music projects in Poland, Germany, Latvia, Estonia, Hungary, Romania, the Netherlands, Japan, and the USA. The Sphere of Harmony Foundation represents and supports Hashtag Ensemble’s new music cooperative. Since 2023 Hashtag Ensemble has been running the Social Cultural Institution of the City of Warsaw – Hashtag Lab Contemporary Music Centre.

The Foundation’s activities have resulted in composers’ commissions by M.Bembinow, A.Stulgińska, W.Błażejczyk, I.Zalewski, D.Przybylski, P.Malinowski, A.Porębski, M.Śniady, J.Szmytka, N.Fukuoka, Z.Dowgiałło, A.Zagajewski, R.Ryterski, A.Kaca, A.Sowa, Y.Klartag, W.Blecharz and many others.

Since 2020, Sfera Harmonii has been organizing and implementing the #Grajfair program focused on supporting a broad educational campaign about copyright and related legal issues. The Foundation has produced numerous record releases in collaboration with labels: DUX, Requiem Records, Bołt Records, and KAIROS. Since 2017, the Sphere of Harmony Foundation has been the main producer of the WarszeMuzik festival, in frames of which chamber music is heard in the backyards of the Warsaw Ghetto.
